Before Pilchuck ever had a name, it had a dream—one built from the ground up, not in a boardroom, but in a small workshop, late at night, after long days of learning and labor. Bill started with a broom in hand and a fire in his belly. As an apprentice in a local cabinet shop, he absorbed everything he could from the old-school craftsmen around him—learning the art, the patience, and the pride that goes into truly custom work.
Meanwhile, Jody was sharpening a different set of tools. With a natural knack for organization and a gift for turning chaos into order, she was the quiet force that would eventually bring structure, strategy, and heart to what would become a family-run operation.
In 2003, we turned that dream into reality. We launched Pilchuck Cabinetry with nothing but our combined skills, a deep respect for quality, and a promise to treat every home like our own. From day one, it’s been more than just cabinets for us. It’s been about relationships—earning trust, delivering excellence, and bringing a personal touch to every single project.
Bill still leads in the shop, hands-on with every detail, every cut, every finish. Jody keeps the gears turning—managing the logistics, handling the details, and ensuring each job runs like clockwork. Together, we’re not just building cabinetry—we’re building a legacy.
